Didn't make the cut!

Well, one of the books on our curr list hasn't made the cut. The Night Journey by Kathryn Lasky. In the first couple of chapters the main character a 13yr Jewish girls uses the "d" word several times and as I began to scan the book she appears to have a problem with being disrespectful to her elders...so I see that the last minute add-ons will need to be read or scanned...too bad I thought this book had a great message!

    I hate when that happens...I have had several books like that. Good luck in finding more;)

    Oh boy. I pray Father leads you as He has in times past, to books that would be pleasing to Him. And as He does, please, do share with your sisters. :D
